Hatfield-McCoy Off-Topic: Electric ATV's

It seems like everyone and everything is going green these days, so of course off-roaders are no exception. With that in mind, take a look at this YouTube video put out by the crew over at Mythbusters, featuring a bone-stock Polaris vs. an all-electric ATV made by Barefoot Motors.



Now of course, the electric ATV was designed by Jamie, one of the hosts of the show, and they don't let little things like 'individual operator skill' factor into the test. Nonetheless, performance wise, this machine shows it can stack up. Cool stuff like this shows that the day may be coming where you ask someone to tow you off the trail to the nearest electrical outlet instead of the nearest gas station.

Today's photo comes from Keith Custer who took this gnarly action shot of his girlfriend whipping her Polaris up some rock steps. Fisher's ATV Reunion Hitting Hatfield-McCoy Country

ATV's, mud, and country music. What more could a 'wheeler ask for? How about a chance to been seen on TV? Well, if thats on your wish list, then get load up the truck and trailer and head on down to the Town of Gilbert for the Fisher's ATV World Reunion Event June 20-22.

The fine folks at Fisher's, along with Toyota, are bringing in a camera crew and tons of country music artists like Daryle Singletary, Michael Scott, Craig Morgan, and former American Idol contestant Bucky Covington to take over the trails for a weekend, and it's somethign you'll definitely want to be a part of!
