Join the Hatfield-McCoy Trails for a WV Day Celebration

For those of you not from West Virginia, you might want to know that Saturday, June 20 is West Virginia Day, and the Hatfield-McCoy Trails are using it as an excuse to throw the state a three-day long birthday bash.

If you happen to be headed to Hatfield-McCoy Country for the weekend, be sure to stop by our Visitor's Center at the Little Coal River Trailhead and check out some of the great events going on to celebrate all weekend long.

Several booths will be on site, there selling homemade items like:

  • Jellies
  • Jams
  • Honey
  • Quilts
  • Purses
  • Candles
  • West Virginia Musician Jimmy Wolford will be on hand, signing and selling his new CD, "The Hatfield's & McCoy's (The Great Vendetta)"
  • Special appearance from Smokey the Bear
  • Cake and treats to celebrate our great state's birthday
