Chief Logan Outdoors Exp

Hey Guys and Gals,

This weekend the Chief Logan Hunting and Fishing Expo comes to Logan County at the Chief Logan State Park Conference Center on July 16-17.

There will be around 200 vendors there selling all sorts of outdoor gear and products, from homemade jerkey to ATV supplies and more.

This spectacular event, which is sponsored by the Logan County Chamber of Commerce and the Hatfield-McCoy Convention and Visitor's Bureau has something for every outdoorsman and outdoorswoman and kids to boot!

World famous archery hunting expert Chuck Adams will be there giving a seminar on bowhunting. If you have seen Chuck on the Outdoors Channel or in archery magazines, you know he is the real deal. Chuck has not only taken all sorts of big game animals with his compound bows all over the world, if you take a closer look, you will often notice Chuck uses older model bows instead of the latest 'tech' oriented gear. With Chuck Adams the focus is on skill and ability, and the things a bowhunter can develop, rather than what he or she can buy.

There will also be professional angler Jeremy Starks who will do seminars about fishing; Tom Bechdel will do a seminar on Coyote calling, Bruce Ingram will discuss outdoor fishing and there will be competitions such as a 3-d archery tournament, a youth challenge for young people, and there will be a huge aquarium of fish and a trout pond for youngsters to fish in.
And of course Hatfield-McCoy will be a part of it. Some of our staff will be there to discuss ATV safety. How could you have an outdoors event of this caliber without us?

This event is NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!

For more information call the chamber at 304-752-1324 or check the web site, www.hatfieldmccoycvb.com!

To make it easy for you to get there the event's sponsors will have four shuttle buses running back and forth from the Goody's parking lot at the FountainPlace Mall near Walmart to the front door. Members of local civic groups such as the Kiwanis, the Lions and the Rotary will be there to help you park and to sell the $5 admission bracelets, so you can get your bracelet, and ride to the front door of the expo.

So if you want some fun things to do while in the area riding the world famous Hatfield-McCoy Trails, stop on by the Chief Logan Hunting and Fishing Expo!
